My Journey for Knowledge

Here's a succinct rundown of my educational journey over the years!
- High School graduation in 2021
- Associate of Arts and Sciences from Muskegon Community College graduation (2023)
- Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Arts Technology from Western Michigan University (2026)

Recently, I graduated from WMU with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Arts Technology (MAT) and with a minor in Theatre. In this program, I am learned music technology, sound engineering, composition and sound design for film/visual media. I am open to work and ecstatic to see where this path takes me!

Video Game Projects

Currently, only one video game demo has been released.

"Dalton Discoveries" was a senior capstone project where LJ solo developed a game demo that combines the adventure from pixel RPG's, fun Easter eggs to find, an ARG, and memories from fellow classmates' time in the program. "Dalton Discoveries" serves almost as a small snapshot of a digital scrapbook of the memories made there. This was LJ's first time coding and creating a game from scratch. Tutorials, a handful of sound effects, and art assets credits are given to MichaelGames on YouTube and Cainos on itch.io. Additional art, music, and sound effects/design are of LJ's.

Although the demo is far from perfect, the experience was a great learning one, lighting a fire underneath me. I have more confidence in building games and my own creativity. I look forward to collaborating with others to bring more polish to the games, but I understand and have insight on all the efforts needed to release a video game. Dalton Discoveries is only the beginning! Here's to many more!
